About the Design:

Context Study - Solids and Voids, a Study in Formal Experience

This portion of Jefferson Park is uniquely characterized by the juxtaposition of single family residents, multifamily, commercial and industrial buildings. This diversity of scale can be similarly observed in the voids, or empty pieces of land.

PURE Townhomes addresses these unique characterizations by juxtaposing the qualities of both the traditional townhome with a more modern commercial aesthetic. The result is a building that blurs the lines between a residential and commercial.

What is in a name: PURE

The name PURE refers to the simplicity in appearance and lack of superfluous materials or form. The design carries through from the exterior to the interior, creating a seamless experience for the residents and visitors.

The goal of PURE is to create a holistic living environment that combines sophisticated design with energy efficient and environmentally conscious solutions. Strategies include photovoltaic cells, low flow fixtures, dual flush toilets, low VOC materials, and recycled content to name a few. PURE in both form and function for a positive living experience for both now and for the future.
